As Rakuten Mobile’s Global Head of AI and Autonomous Networks, Miro Salem’s mission is to realize the vision of autonomous networks, from research to product. Miro started his career in telecommunications at some of the largest mobile network providers, namely, Ericsson, Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon. Prior to joining Rakuten Mobile, he founded 3TEN8, an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning platform that helps engineers predict and diagnose degradations and outages on wireless networks; the company was voted #1 AI start-up by mobile operators and investors. He is passionate about pursuing practical innovations for technological and social advancement.
